Community Activation | Supply + Demand Back-to-School Fundraiser

The Current Event was proud to participate in the Official D.C. Back-to-School Carnival as a community activation partner for our Supply + Demand Back-to-School Fundraiser.

This family-centered event brought together students, parents, educators, nonprofits, and community organizations from across the DMV to celebrate the upcoming school year while connecting families with valuable resources and support.

During the activation, our team engaged attendees around the importance of educational access, collected school supply donations, recruited volunteers, and shared ways community members can invest in local students through the Supply + Demand initiative.

Events like these allow us to meet families where they are, build meaningful relationships, and raise awareness about the growing need for educational resources in our communities.
